App updates

Tickd downloads small updates through Expo’s update service (650 Industries, Inc., USA). To do that, the app sends technical data to Expo: your IP address, the app version, and the device platform. No personal content from the app is sent. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in shipping bug fixes quickly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Expo’s privacy policy: expo.dev/privacy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to object. Since your data is stored only on your device, you control it directly in the app. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Children

Tickd is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If future versions add optional features like cloud sync, this policy will be updated before those features ship, and they will be opt-in.
